Broadstreet is off to Barcelona for this year’s ISPOR Europe conference, November 10th to 14th. We’ll be more than happy to spend a few days taking in Gaudí’s architectural marvels, eating tiny sandwiches, drinking coffees in leafy squares…and of course, learning what’s new in the world of European Health Economics and Outcomes Research!
We will be presenting three posters at the conference, the first of which is entitled Evolving strategies for generating, synthesizing, and visualizing real world evidence in rare diseases. This will be part of the Research Poster Presentations Session I, which will focus on conceptual papers. The session is on Monday, November 12th and runs from 8:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Broadstreet Principal Karissa Johnston will be on hand to chat between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.
Our second and third poster presentations will be on Tuesday, November 13th in Session IV in the Cardiovascular and the Respiratory-Related Disorders areas. The topics are The direct resource use and medical costs of heart failure in Nova Scotia, Canada and Cost-effectiveness of a new single inhaler triple therapy (SITT) versus multiple inhaler triple therapies (MITT) to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Canada. The session runs from 3:45 to 7:00 p.m. and, from 3:45, Karissa will again be available for questions.
If you are going to be in Barcelona for the conference and would like to arrange a meeting, do get in touch. We’d love to catch up over some tapas!
